The World Celebration neighborhood at EPCOT is about to become a reality! Disney has announced the official opening date for this long-awaited area to be in December 2023, opening up the front of the park to become a central hub of activities and entertainment.
The World Celebration neighborhood will connect two other new areas, World Discovery and World Nature. Once World Celebration opens, it finishes off EPCOT’s multi-year transformation.
Also debuting December 2023 is a new nighttime fireworks show over World Showcase Lagoon, Luminious – The Symphony of Us. Also in store near the front of the park is Journey of Water, an interactive walkthrough attraction inspired by Moana, that opens October 2023. A bigger project is also in the works with the reimagineering of Test Track!
