Mark your calendars because the opening date for the all-new Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT has been announced. The walkthrough experience will open to guests on October 16, 2023—just in time for the company’s 100th anniversary celebration, based out of EPCOT!
In addition to this exciting news, a new character meet and greet featuring Moana will also debut. Guests will be able to visit the beloved heroine of Disney’s 2016 animated feature film in a special, interactive setting.
This is just one more exciting experience that will be added to the park’s anniversary celebration lineup, which includes the much-anticipated opening of the World Celebration neighborhood at the front of the park in December 2023, which has long been an inconvenience to park guests with construction walls and barriers.
A new nighttime fireworks show, Lumonious, also debuts in December 2023!
In other news, a beloved attraction, Test Track, will be renovated in its first revamp in over 12 years! This overhaul will be inspired by the original World of Motion ride, an exciting announcement for EPCOT fans.
